Yes! Actually there is a hidden feature that allows you to copy and paste information from excel into VideoTagger. There is a Video tutorial that provides a visual representation of what is described here:
1. Format your excel spreadsheet in a way that mimiks the table in VideoTagger, verify that there are no blank lines between each row (for example if you have a roles and names section, format your excel spreadsheet with 2 columns, the first column roles the second column names)
2. Insert an additional blank column to the left of the left-most column (in the example it would be a blank column to the left of the roles column)
3. Highlight the content that you would like to copy into VideoTagger, plus the additional blank left-most column
4. Copy the highlighted text by pressing control-C
5. Return to VideoTagger
6. Open the section that you would like to paste the data into
7. Click in the left-most column of the section's table (the blank column to the left of the first data column)
8. Press control-V to paste the information into VideoTagger!
9. You're done! Your information has been imported!
Simply use a spreadsheet program and follow the rules for entering data as described in the answer above
The order varies a bit depending on your contracts, however we have provided a guideline.
Click on "Informaton" from the navigation menu, and click on "Movie Credits Order" to view the recommended order for your end titles
At render time, you can click "Set Run Time" to enter in an exact run time for your credits
No. We actually tried this feature, however without a video or image to display underneath the movie credits the background appeared black. We considered extending VideoTagger to allow mixing of Videos, but really we're not trying to be a video editor.
Our suggestion is to render your movie with an odd colored background, and import it into your movie editor selecting the background color as invisible. It is truly best handled this way.
No
This does occur on rare occasions, the best way to get your files to open if this happens is to open VideoTagger, click "New" then click "Ok" on the following window, which will open a new VideoTagger file. Then click "Open" from the "File" menu and open your file. This simply work-around solves the bug.
This has only been reported when using Sony Vegas. The solution is to first ensure that you are creating a JPeg based avi. Then download ffdshow and in the "VFW Configuration", enable the MJPEG in both the Encoder and Decoder tabs. Only when you enable MJPEG in the Decoder config does it recognized the .avi file.
